Mexican Consulate
The project for the construction of a new addition to the Mexican Consulate building began when Manuel Venegas, a WDA principal, became involved as catedrateco at the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez, as a member of the teacher’s team directing the design study for the existing building. Wright & Dalbin was then chosen to design a new two-story processing building, a secure entrance plaza, and a connecting building for the Mexican Consulate in 2011. The project included the exterior as well as the interior design, landscaping, security requirements, and special systems to meet the needs of the consulate.
