Principal

Geoffrey Wright has been a registered architect since 1978. He is principal architect for Wright & Dalbin Architects, which he founded in 1986, after having served as head architect for Condell Architects and Engineers. Geoffrey Wright previously served as Chair of the El Paso City Plan Commission and was vice chair of the Historic Landmark Commission, as well as other City boards such as the Building Board of Adjustments, the Building and Zoning Advisory Committee and the Public Utility Regulatory Board.

FREDERIC P. DALBIN

Principal

Frederic Dalbin was born in Barcelona, Spain, raised in Mexico City and Paris, France. He made El Paso his permanent home in 1984. A registered architect in the U.S. since 1987, Frederic has regularly worked with governmental entities such as the City and the County of El Paso, the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, Housing and Urban Development, the US Army Corps of Engineers, the University of Texas at El Paso and various school districts. He has also worked with non-profits organizations such as Annunciation House, and the Opportunity Center for the Homeless.

ROBERT GARLAND

Principal

Robert Garland has vast experience in several types of architecture, including residential, multi-family housing, religious facilities, educational facilities ranging from Pre-K to technical schools and universities, light training facilities, commercial, office and retail. After having practiced architecture at Garland & Hilles Architects Inc. since 1988, Robert recently became part of WDA in 2017.

Angel Bataller Rincón

Principal

Angel Bataller Rincón was born in Seville, Spain, raised in Barcelona and started the Architectural Professional career in New York and moved to El Paso. He has experience in a wide variety of Projects, from Public Projects for the City of El Paso, the County of El Paso, School Districts, to Commercial. His attention to detail, knowledge of code, and problem-solving skills make him a resource for the firm.

ANTONIO LABRADO

Principal

Tony Labrado holds an MBA and has over 20 years of experience in the architectural and construction service industry. He manages all business administration aspects at WDA, including accounting functions like tax compliance, asset management, and financial reporting. His role also covers contract administration, human resources, and office management. A lifelong resident of El Paso and family-oriented, Tony actively participates in his community, supporting organizations like La Familia de El Paso and the Five Points Development Association.

ENRIQUE ARMENDARIZ

Enrique ‘Rick’ Armendariz is a design professional with 25 years of experience in the A/E/C community and the service industry. His project experience has allowed him to serve in different roles; construction administration, project management & coordination, business owner, design consultant, estimator, lighting designer, furniture/fixtures/finishes representative. Rick developed a specialty in healthcare related projects like hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings, and physician offices.

Laura Chavez

Project Manager / BIM & Social Media Manager

Born and raised in El Paso, Laura has recently returned from Miami where she completed her master’s degree in architecture from Florida International University. Laura also has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Texas Tech. During her time at Texas Tech, she obtained some professional experience working for Root Architects. Currently she is eager to complete all the A.R.E. exams, to become a licensed architect. With her return she desires to contribute meaningfully to the built environment, integrating her passion and innovation for the community’s needs. Ready to embark on projects that inspire, transform, and impact on the architectural landscape of El Paso.

Eduardo Marquez Ceccopieri

Architectural Intern

Eduardo is a graduate of Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez, where he earned his degree in Architecture. He has experience working in production, construction administration, and marketing support within architectural firms. His work includes preparing construction documents, coordinating revisions, and supporting projects during the construction phase to help ensure alignment with design intent. He has also contributed to marketing efforts through the development of SOQs, presentations, and video content, supporting proposal submissions and project communication. Eduardo is focused on continuing to develop his skills and gaining experience across different areas of architecture while contributing to ongoing projects.

Diana Rios

Administrative Assistant

Diana Rios is our Company’s Administrative Assistant. She is a motivated individual who loves to stay busy and is eager to learn more. Diana previously worked for a Builder Company in the warranty department, where she was responsible communicating with the construction managers, including electricians, Plumbers, and roofers, to ensure that the homes were in great condition. She is now excited to broaden her knowledge in architecture and assist the HR and accounting department with their needs.

Dagmar Rochelly Dena

Architectural Intern / Graphic Marketing

Dagmar is an honors graduate of Texas Tech University in El Paso, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture. In addition to her time at WDA, she interned and worked at two local architecture firms, gaining valuable hands-on experience. At WDA, she supports the marketing department while also contributing to architectural projects, expanding her skills across disciplines. Dagmar is passionate about learning and is eager to grow within the field. She plans to continue her education in architecture while actively contributing to the WDA team.

Sergio Reyes

Architectural Intern / Graphic Marketing

Sergio is a recent honors graduate from Texas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Originally from Ciudad Juárez, he overcame the daily challenge of crossing the U.S.-Mexico border to pursue his passion to become an architect, an experience that shaped his resilience and dedication to the field. He currently contributes to Wright & Dalbin Architects (WDA), supporting a variety of architectural projects while also engaging in marketing initiatives, allowing him to develop a diverse skill set across multiple areas. Passionate about learning and collaboration, he is committed to achieving professional licensure to make a lasting impact in the field of architecture.
