UFC Lofts
Wright & Dalbin repurposed a four story retail annex in downtown El Paso for mixed use, with three floors of high-end lofts above street level retail. The units featured 10 foot ceilings, large windows, and eight foot solid wood entry doors. Life safety code compliance required modification of the fire sprinkler system, new emergency staircases, firewalls, and an elevator upgrade.
The lofts furthered the city's goal of adopting the standards of New Urbanism, and sought to revitalize a diminished city center.
