Casa Bienvivir HUD 202

The HUD 202 program makes interest-free funds available to private non-profit organizations to provide housing for the elderly.

Casa Bienvivir is a 40 unit assisted living complex and includes a multi-purpose room, kitchen, offices, laundry room and a large, landscaped courtyard. The project also includes a patio to perpetuate the vernacular Southwestern architecture. Planters are handicapped accessible to allow wheelchair-bound residents to cultivate small gardens.

The complex also includes a two-bed intermediate care unit to provide transitional facilities for patients returning from hospital stays, or suffering debilitating conditions.

Wright & Dabin provided complete architectural and engineering services for the project, including surveys of existing conditions, code analysis, feasibility studies, design, and construction administration.
