This project repurposed a 62 year old, 44,000 square foot Memorial Hospital building previously converted into City Hall in Las Cruces into the Central Medical Clinic, providing primary care, dental, behavioral health, Early Head Start, and La Clínica de Familia services. The two story building with a basement was redesigned into a modern, welcoming, and accessible, community focused healthcare facility.
The first floor includes urgent care with six exam rooms, lab and X ray services, a dental wing with 16 operatories, a six bay pediatric dental area, and administrative offices. The second floor contains 21 exam rooms, nurse stations, labs, offices, and conference rooms, with site upgrades bringing the property into compliance with current accessibility, landscaping, and city requirements.
