Downtown Zoning Reform Roundtable: AIA El Paso
On Thursday, June 12, the City of El Paso hosted a public event to discuss proposed zoning changes that could influence the future of Downtown and historic neighborhoods. Members of the WDA team attended, reflecting our ongoing commitment to staying engaged in conversations that shape the built environment and the communities we serve.
Our in-house architect, Angel Bataller, was present to stay informed on current policy discussions and to represent WDA’s interest in thoughtful urban development conversations. The proposed zoning updates are part of a broader initiative focused on economic growth, housing availability, and the adaptive reuse of historic structures.
As a firm dedicated to community-centered design, WDA values opportunities to participate in public forums and planning discussions.
